VOICES OF NORTHWOOD

CONCEPT

To auditorily represent the people, flora, and fauna of Northwood Village by creating 5 unique compositions that combine traditional song elements along with recorded "found" local sound from within Northwood. Examples: birds chirping, basketballs bouncing, tennis balls bounding, people talking, feet walking, train, train tracks, glasses clinking, bikes bells, etc. Incorporating these sounds into songs; ambient meditations, chill hip hop, dreamy blues, etc. The music will physically exist at two locations, Serenity Park and Blum Park, playing through custom built, weather resistant speakers.
